Acrylic bathtubs
Acrylic tubs give you the freestanding look at a lighter weight and a friendlier price. They're far easier to carry up a staircase or into an upper-floor bathroom, and their glossy white finish is easy to wipe clean.
Many of our acrylic tubs are double-walled or insulated, which helps them hold heat better than a basic single-wall tub.

Is acrylic a good material for a bathtub?
Yes. It's light, warm to the touch, easy to clean and widely used for freestanding tubs. It suits upper floors and older homes where weight matters.
Will an acrylic tub scratch?
It can, so avoid abrasive cleaners. Light surface marks can often be polished out with a non-abrasive acrylic polish.
Do acrylic tubs keep water warm?
Double-walled and insulated acrylic tubs hold heat well. A stone resin tub still holds heat longest; see our comparison.
