Small bathtubs
A small bathroom doesn't rule out a freestanding tub. Our compact tubs are all under 55 inches long, so they fit where many standard tubs won't, and several are deep upright soakers that trade length for depth.
Leave a few inches around the tub for cleaning, and check the step-in height if anyone in the house finds a high side awkward.

What is the smallest freestanding tub?
Our shortest tubs start around 36 inches long. Compare the dimensions on each listing against your space, leaving 4 to 6 inches around the tub.
Can I fit a freestanding tub in a 5-foot alcove?
Often, yes. A tub under 55 inches leaves room around it in a 60-inch space. Measure door swings and fixtures too; our size guide walks through it.
Are small tubs comfortable?
Deep upright tubs let you sit with water up to your shoulders, which many people find more relaxing than a long, shallow tub.
