Yes. Solid surface is non-porous and made for wet areas. Rinse and wipe it with the rest of the shower.
Is a stool a substitute for grab bars?
No. A stool is for sitting; grab bars properly anchored to the wall are what to hold for balance. Many bathrooms benefit from both.
