How wide should a double vanity be?
About 60 inches is a practical minimum for two sinks with usable counter space; 72 inches and up gives each person room to spread out.
Do I need two drains?
Usually, yes. Swapping a single vanity for a double means adding a second drain and supply lines, so plan it with your plumber.
